Michael D. "Mike" Mower

Michael David “Mike” Mower, 62, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

He was born on June 11, 1962, to the late Alice Winslow Bigham and Paul Frank Mower of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Mike was a 1980 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School and a 1984 graduate of Juniata College. He worked in the healthcare industry for hospitals and nursing facilities for most of his career. He enjoyed his recent employment at The Chambersburg Club and Wilson College.

Michael loved to laugh, had many friends, and will be remembered for his sense of humor, kindness, and generosity. He was a social member of Knights of Columbus, VFW Post, Marine Corps League, and The Chambersburg Club.

He is survived by his brother Peter and wife Donna of Wilson, North Carolina, and nephew Zachary, wife Tiffany, and their three children of Lemoyne, Pennsylvania. Michael is also survived by cousins in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, the Carolinas, and Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Mark.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday April 29, 2025, at 12:00 PM in Norland Cemetery with Pastor Gary Rebok officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday April 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania  17202.
