Michael Witherspoon

Michael Eugene Witherspoon, age 34, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly in the Chambersburg hospital on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. Born May 10, 1982, in Chambersburg, he was the son of Robert E. and Diane Juray Witherspoon.

Michael attended the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. He had worked as a painter. An avid outdoorsman, Michael enjoyed fishing and hunting; however his most cherished time was spent with his family.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his children, Donovan A., Deavein M. and Destiny Dixson all of Chambersburg; his wife Jillina Dixson;his siblings, Rachael E. Witherspoon (Eric Grubb), Quinn E. Witherspoon (Chelsea Sheeder) of Chambersburg, PA; a niece, Kaia Witherspoon of Chambersburg, PA; maternal grandmother, Virginia R. Juray; paternal grandparents, Gene and Harriet Witherspoon of Chambersburg, PA; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA
