Mildred Randolph

Mildred A. Randolph, age 99, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on June 20, 2017 at SpiriTrust Lutheran, the Home at Luther Ridge. Born March 1, 1918 in New Brunswick, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Arthur C. and Hazel F. Stryker Jaques. Her beloved husband, Merrill A. Randolph, Sr. preceded her in death on December 13, 1976.

Mildred was a 1936 graduate of New Brunswick High School in New Brunswick, NJ. She was employed as a purchasing assistant at Office Suppliers in Chambersburg for 29 years until her retirement. She was a member of AARP, NARFE and the Chambersburg Hospital Women’s Auxiliary. She also volunteered at the Chambersburg hospital for many years. Mildred was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chambersburg.

She is survived by two sons, Merrill A. Randolph, Jr. and wife Evelyn of Carlisle, PA and Ronald W. Randolph and wife Sarah of Fayetteville, PA; two grandchildren, Stacy L. Grace and husband Kevin of Chambersburg and Afton Randolph-Flock and husband Michael of Fernley, NV; and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur C. Jaques and her sister, Ruth M. Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 23, 2017 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Rev. Robert Mentzer will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Friday. Interment will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
