Mildred Sellers

Mildred A. Sellers, 79, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Thursday morning, August 14, 2014 at Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born January 3, 1935 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late James and Helen Upperman Diffenderfer. A homemaker most of her life, Mildred had at one time been employed at the former Stanley Company in Chambersburg. She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Brethren Church.

She is survived by her husband, Richard C. Sellers, whom she married May 30, 1951; four children, Michael R. Sellers of Little River, SC, Jill D. McCollum and husband David of Gardners, PA, Joy Babcock of Salisbury, MD, and Chris L. Sellers and wife Joyce of Greencastle, PA; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her twin sister, Mary Engle of Chambersburg, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Diffenderfer; and two sisters, Hulda Compher and Hazel Hile.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, August 18, 2014 at Mt. Olivet United Brethren Church. Interment will be private.
