Muriel I. Brown, 89, formerly of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in the Orrstown Personal Care Home. Born on December 18, 1922 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Ruth Neuroth Brown.
A 1941 graduate of the former Chambersburg High School, Muriel retired from Letterkenny Army Depot on December 31, 1982 with thirty five years of service. She was a member of Zion Reform Church in Chambersburg. The last of her immediate family, she is survived by several cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, April 23, 2012 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg with Rev. Jeffrey R. Diller officiating. Procession to Norland Cemetery for interment will follow. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
