Nancy Pefley

Nancy E. Pefley, 82, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born June 19, 1934 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Helen Monn Suders. She attended the former Stoufferstown Elementary School and was a graduate of the former Chambersburg High School. A homemaker most of her life, she had at one time worked at J.J. Newberry in Chambersburg. Her husband, Paul Pefley, Jr., whom she married September 10, 1960, preceded her in death on February 24, 2013. She had attended Chambersburg Baptist Church and along with her late husband was a member of the Greencastle Sportsman’s Association. She was a loving and devoted mother; loved fishing with her husband Paul; and enjoyed traveling to Perry County. She will be missed by her faithful canine companion that she loved, Nickie.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Pete and Carole Pefley of Chambersburg; two brothers, Paul and David Suders; her sister, Shirley (Suders) Williams; and her niece, Connie (Williams) Horan. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Peg (Suders) Wagner and Betty Virginia (Suders) Beck

Services and interment will be private.
