Nancy Souders

Nancy L. Souders, 56 of St. Thomas, passed away Tuesday morning, April 29, 2014 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born September 14, 1957 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Harold James and Vivian Mae Wilson Montgomery. Nancy was a 1977 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and was employed for thirty years at K-Mart in Chambersburg. She was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter #1128 in Chambersburg. Her hobbies included going to yard sales, reading, attending drawings, going to the horse races and the casino in Charlestown, WV, playing Bingo, and spending time with her dog, Pokkie, and her cat, Callie.

She is survived by her husband, Roger L. Souders, whom she married August 26, 1995; her daughter, Kati A. Bunker; her step-son, Charles H. Souders of Chambersburg; her brother, Donald L. Montgomery and wife Stacie of Chambersburg; her sister, Tina M. Sites and husband Daniel of Chambersburg; numerous nieces; great-nieces; and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Montgomery on July 1, 2005.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 3, 2014 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA with Rev. John Pogue officiating. Interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 PM Friday and from 9:00-10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
