Nordale Graeff, 90, formerly of Chambersburg and Vermilion, OH, passed away December 29, 2014 at The Village of Laurel Run in Fayetteville, PA. Born December 28, 1924 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Zelda Merideth.
Nordale was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Chambersburg. She loved gardening, doing word searches, her family, and her dogs. She was a retired employee of Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg and Fisher Big Wheel in Vermilion, OH.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa “Teri” Looks (Tolbert) of Vermilion, OH; 2 grandchildren, Gina (Dave) Corbin and Collin (Cristi) Looks, both of Vermilion, OH; 5 great-grandchildren, Ryan (Andrew) Krieg, Dusty Tolbert, Isaac, Isaiah, and Israel Looks, all of Vermilion, OH; and 1 great-great granddaughter, Kalie Krieg, also of Vermilion, OH.
Nordale was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Zelda Merideth; her brothers, Chester Jr. (Son) and Arnold (Cookie); her sisters, Patricia Farrell, Oleta Gipe, Fae Peters, and Marlene Merideth.
Per Nordale’s request, a private graveside service for immediate family will be held at Parklawn’s Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA.
