Norma Tedrick

Norma H. Tedrick, age 74, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away at the Menno Haven Nursing Home on Monday, October 29, 2012. Born April 16, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Virginia Strickler Horst.
Mrs. Tedrick worked for the Chambersburg Area School District for 27 years as a secretary retiring in 2000. She was a member of Our Lady of Visitation Catholic Church in Shippensburg. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and reading.
Surviving is her husband of 55 years, Richard L. “Dick” Tedrick, whom she married February 2, 1957 and her son, Robert Tedrick of Chambersburg, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Tedrick in 1976.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 10 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA 17202; where Rev. Fr. David Hillier will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Corpus Christi Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
