Norman Burdge

Norman B. Burdge, age 88, of East Waterford, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at Locust Grove Retirement Community, Mifflin, PA. Born May 5, 1927, in Shade Valley, he was the son of the late Brady and Alverta Shearer Burdge.



A self employed farmer most of his adult life, Mr. Burdge enjoyed hunting and butchering with his family in his spare time.



Surviving is his son, Brady W. Burdge (wife Pamela) of East Waterford, PA; three grandchildren, Alesha Burdge of Sebring, FL, Colton and Cameron Burdge, both of East Waterford, PA; and three siblings, Virginia Stalfer, Arlene Goshorn, and Richard Burdge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Janet Burdge in 2011 and two brothers and one sister.



Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at 1 PM in the Agett – Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, PA, where Rev. Marlin A. “Butch” Neil will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Upper Tuscarora Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Waterloo, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the Upper Tuscarora Presbyterian Church, 677 Brick Church Rd., East Waterford, PA 17021.
