Pamela Cassada

March 27, 1961 — March 20, 2025

Chambersburg

Pamela (Pam) Love Cassada was born 27th March, 1961 in Manchester, England. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Chrystor (Chris) Cassada; her daughter, Bailey Cassada; and her son, Alexander Cassada. She is also survived by her parents, Frank and Eileen Love; her brothers, Neil and Mark Love; sister, Jayne Hodgson; and sisters-in-law, Joanne and Sue, in addition to numerous much-loved nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.

Pam was raised in England and worked at the Department of Employment in Manchester for 17 years from 1977. Pam lived and worked in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for seven years, working at a drilling company and at the American embassy. Pam met and married her husband, Chris in Abu Dhabi after which they moved to the United States residing in Fayetteville, NC followed by Tucson and Phoenix, AZ. For the last 19 years Pam has lived in Chambersburg, PA.

Pam visited many countries and loved experiencing different cultures. She enjoyed volunteering at Shippensburg University’s Luhrs Performing Arts Center and was a much-loved member of the team. She was passionate about English football (soccer), being a dedicated supporter of Liverpool Football Club, and her beloved home team, Stockport County.

Pam belonged to a book club and enjoyed a special friendship with her fellow members. A wonderful and caring group, they were always there to support Pam and her family throughout her time of cancer treatments – they even let her stay in the club when she rarely read the assigned books, and she loved them all! Pam also had a special bond and friendship with fellow breast cancer survivors who she met during her battle that started in 2013. They were all crazy bad-asses in their own unique ways and gave love and support along every step of Pam’s journey.

Her many friends will attest to her being the life and soul of any gathering with her unique, infectious, irreverent sense of humor and often hilarious comments and observations! She had the capacity to love life and to see the positive in any situation, all of which made her friends and family love being in her presence.
