Patricia Fletcher

Patricia Gail Fletcher, age 68, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on June 9, 2015 at Hershey Medical Center. Born August 12, 1946 in Oakland, CA, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Willie Mae Davis Stanley. Her husband, Joseph C. Fletcher, preceded her in death on January 29, 1997.

Patricia was a 1965 graduate of McClymonds High School in Oakland California. Following her graduation, Patricia worked as an insurance agent for General Steam Ship in San Francisco, CA for 15 years. Over the past 13 years, she worked with her daughter at Pattie Time Child Care Center in Chambersburg. She was a member of Greater Good News Church of God and Christ, and a past member of the Laurel Temple 519 IBPOE in Chambersburg. She enjoyed bowling, Bingo, going to the casino to play the penny machines, and watching old westerns and soap operas. She loved her children and grandchildren and was very active in their lives. She also loved her job at the daycare.

Patricia is survived by four children, Traci Dynette Hardy (husband Albert), Ty’Ann D’Love Fletcher, Ta’Lor D’Love Fletcher, and Ty D’Jare Fletcher, all of Chambersburg; ten grandchildren, Tia Rones of Chambersburg, Ty’Ree Coy (husband Jeff) of Chambersburg, Tiffany Patterson of San Diego, CA, and A’Nylah Burke, Teon Patterson, Tarraill Patterson, Terrance Patterson, Tyler Patterson, Ty’Ru Patterson, Ta’Von Patterson, all of Chambersburg; five great-grandchildren, Christopher Napper, Jr., Java’e Simmons, Cie’rah Simmons, Kallan Coy, and Kieyan Coy, all of Chambersburg; six siblings, Willie Stanley of Pittsburg, CA, Terry Stanley of Chambersburg, Sylvia Davis of Tallahassee, FL, Betty Atkins (Albert) of Chicago, IL, Lemon Johnson of Stockton, CA, and Millie DeMerrill of San Leandro, CA. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Clevelan’t Moore and Norva L. Rice.

A funeral service to honor Patricia’s Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Greater Good News Church of God and Christ, 601 S. Main St. Chambersburg, PA 17201. Bishop Edgar L. Scott will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, June 16, 2015 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the Church.
