Patricia Garner

Patricia Lee Garner, 62, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Friday afternoon, August 4, 2023 at her home. Born May 20, 1961 in Greenbelt, MD, she was a daughter of James Scott of Dover, PA and the late Sandra Williams Scott. Pat was a 1979 graduate of James Buchanan High School and was employed as a Loan Originator at Orrstown Bank. She was previously employed at A Plus Settlement Services. Her hobbies included camping, boating, and watching Ravens football. She especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.

Pat is survived by her husband, Thomas A. Garner, Jr., whom she married July 19, 1980; her daughter, Andrea Starliper and husband Derek of Greencastle; granddaughters Kenley and Kennedy; her sisters, Ann Ross and husband Bob of Shippensburg and Linda Newell and husband David of St. Thomas; and beloved niece Jen Emmons and family.

A service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. David Newell will officiate. Interment will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
