Patricia A. Malone, age 82, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, morning February 10, 2016 surrounded by her family. Born April 11, 1933 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul Gilbert and the late Katharine Williams Gilbert.
Pat attended Chambersburg High School and was employed at Sears in Chambersburg for 16 years, retiring in 1985. Pat was a member of the Chambersburg First Church of God.
Surviving is her husband, Thomas B. Malone; three sons, James G. Edgar (wife Stephanie), Stephen M. Edgar (wife Sharon), and Thomas M. Edgar (wife Connie), all of Chambersburg; six grandchildren, Jason Edgar, Matthew Edgar, Stephen Edgar II, Laura Raifsnider, Mark Edgar, and David Edgar; six great grandchildren; three step- grandchildren, and five step-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by an infant son, Mark D. Edgar; and a brother, Charles P. Gilbert.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
