Patrick Loudon Miller, 69, of Chambersburg, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at his home. Born November 4, 1947 in Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of the late Loudon and Patricia Daugherty Miller.
Pat was a graduate of Huntingdon High School. He earned his teaching degree from Lock Haven University and also attended Temple University. He was employed as a math teacher in Philadelphia before relocating to Mercersburg, PA. He then sold insurance until he began his career at D. L. Martin Co. where he was employed for 28 years until his retirement in 2006. Pat had a great sense of humor and was a very thoughtful man. He was a skilled woodworker and an avid Penn State fan.
He is survived by his wife, Adrien Miller, whom he married on June 15, 1990; his step daughter, Julie Grant of Chambersburg; five step-granddaughters, Kennedi, Tamara, Aliyah, Ava, and Bellamy; three step-great granddaughters, Audrey, Aubrey and Soleil; and his sister, Kathy Eichensher of Edgewood, MD. In addition to his parents, Pat is preceded in death by his sister, Shannon, and brother, John.
Services will be private and under the direction of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. Friends and family are welcome to express condolences by calling or visiting the family.
