Paul L. Farner, 80, of Fayetteville, PA, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at his home. Born April 24, 1933 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Paul E. and Dorothy M. Hock Farner. Paul was a 1951 graduate of the former Chambersburg High School and served with the US Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Ft. Ritchie in Cascade, MD. Paul held membership in Charles Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW, Burt J. Asper Post 46 American Legion, and BPO Elks Lodge #600, all in Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Susanna B. Farner, whom he married September 14, 1963; a brother, Bennett Farner, and wife Sandy of Fayetteville; a sister, Connie Wagner of Fayetteville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Farner.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, July 6th, at Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA, with Rev. Paul B. Baker officiating.
