Paul Garland

Paul Jesse Garland, age 77, of St. Thomas, PA passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Hershey Medical Center. Born in Breezewood, PA on May 14, 1938, he was the son of the late Franklin G. and Mildred E. Pepple Garland.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, he served his country honorably for four years. He went on to become an engineer, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the World Poker League. He enjoyed traveling, playing Texas Hold’em, and Black Jack.
Surviving are three children, Judith Bone of St. Thomas, PA, Jackie Duda of MA, and Paul Garland, Jr. of Camp Hill, PA; three step-children, Sherry, Rick, and James McMahon; numerous grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Richard and Robert Garland.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016, from 12 – 4 PM at Dilly’s Bar & Grill, 642 Lincoln Way W, Chambersburg, PA 17201. All family and friends are welcome. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
