Paul L. Pensinger, 56, of Chambersburg, PA, died unexpectedly Monday evening, September 24, 2012 in Chambersburg Hospital. Born March 5, 1956 in Waynesboro, he was a son of the late Paul and Mary Hardsock Pensinger. Paul was a 1974 graduate of James Buchanan High School in Mercersburg and was employed for thirty-two years at Beck Manufacturing in Greencastle, PA. He was a member and Elder at Heidelberg Church in Marion and was a member of the Marion Volunteer Fire Company where he volunteered with bingo. A train enthusiast, Paul enjoyed volunteering time with the Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association and was a member of the Friday Nite Nomads in Waynesboro.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Bivens Pensinger, whom he married December 20, 1984; his sons, Paul M. and wife Carol Pensinger and Justin Pensinger; and his granddaughter, Lilly Anna Marie Pensinger, all of Chambersburg. Paul is also survived by a sister, Betty Hardsock; and four brothers, Gary Pensinger and wife Tammy, Curtis Pensinger and wife Barbara, Harold Pensinger, and Tony Pensinger, all of Mercersburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 28, 2012 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Adam Leeper will officiate. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday and from 10:00-11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.
