Paul Rebok

Paul R. Rebok, Jr., 66, of Chambersburg, passed away Saturday morning, December 7, 2013 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Born December 15, 1946 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Paul R. and Eleanor Viola Spangler Rebok. Early in his life, Paul was employed for 19 years at Grove Manufacturing. He retired from Ingersoll Rand in October of 2005 after 20 years of service. He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chambersburg where he had served as Sunday School Superintendent, was a long-time member of the Property Committee, and a former member of the Church Council, and the Parish Life Committee. He was a former member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Upton, PA, and was a member of the Chambersburg Memorial YMCA. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. A history buff and a train enthusiast, he enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of Penn State football, the Baltimore Orioles, and the Green Bay Packers.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Kelley Rebok, whom he married June 5, 1971; his daughter, Amy L. Rebok of Fayetteville, PA; his son, Bryan P. Rebok and wife Rachael Strite Rebok of Chambersburg; and two grandchildren, Alexander P. and Emily C. Rebok. He is also survived by four cousins, Mrs. Mary (Deibler) Frey, Robert Pfoutz, William Pfoutz.,and Mrs. Sandra Fitzgerald.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA with Rev. Richard Seaks officiating. Entombment will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 10, 2013, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
