Pauline L. Wagner, 87, formerly of Brookens Road, Fayetteville, PA, passed away Friday evening, November 4, 2016 at Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born February 3, 1929 in Fayetteville, she was a daughter of the late David and Rhoda Mae Peters McNew. Her husband, Charles A. Wagner, whom she married on October 4, 1947, preceded her in death on March 13, 1998.
Pauline was a graduate of the Former Chambersburg High School. She was employed as a seamstress at the Stanley Company in Chambersburg for over 20 years until her retirement in 1967. She was a member of Coldspring United Brethren Church in Fayetteville. Pauline enjoyed canning, cooking and working in her kitchen. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and taking trips to the beach.
She is survived by her son, Scott Wagner and wife Kay of Surfside Beach, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Delbert G., Robert L., and George H. McNew, and two sisters, Lucille John and Shirley Grove.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Suzanne Elliott will officiate. Interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
