Peggy Faust

Peggy M. Faust, 87, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Thursday evening, August 12, 2021 at her home. Born December 6, 1933 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Edward Cook and Grace Shatzley Cook Peters. A homemaker most of her life, Peggy had worked for a number of years at the former Stanley Company in Chambersburg, retiring in 1976. She was a member of LifePoint Church in Chambersburg and was a life member of the New Franklin Fire Company Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Dean K. Faust whom she married January 30, 1953; her son, Dennis Dean Faust; two brothers, Kenneth Cook and Thomas Cook; and two sisters, Ruby Pentz and Janet Bonner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steven Carl Faust; two brothers, Rev. John E. Cook, Jr. and Ben Cook; and her daughter-in-law, Susan A. Seilhamer Faust.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 19, 2021 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Pastor John Cook will officiate. Interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
