Pero Bilic, 66, of Chambersburg, passed away Thursday, October 05, 2017 at Chambersburg Hospital. Born June 29, 1951 in Dusina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, he was a son of the late Ivo and Mara Miličević Bilic. Mr. Bilic was most recently employed at Letterkenny Army Depot and previously had worked for many years at Grove Worldwide and JLG. He owned and operated Golden Hands Handy Man Service in Chambersburg. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, working with tools, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Nada Kovačević Bilic, whom he married May 14, 1975; his son, Dalibor Bilic (Mary); his daughter, Daliborka Ribeiro (Richard); grandchildren Luka Ribeiro (8), Noah Ribeiro (5), and Petar Bilic (1 week); and niece Zivana Myers, her husband William, and their children Isidora (5) and Mila (2), all of Chambersburg. He is also survived by three sisters, Janja Sabljic, Nada Briski, and Kata Bilic; five brothers, Branko, Zoran, Juro, Nikica, and Rajko Bilic; and their families. Pero will also be dearly missed by his wife Nada’s family and his many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Luka Bilic.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Brian Olkowski at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Corpus Christi Church, 320 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA. Interment will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. There will be no public viewing.
