Philip Horne

Philip M. Horne, age 55, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 in the York Hospital after complications from a fall. Born February 28, 1958 in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of Frances Reasner Horne and the late Garnet L. Horne.
Mr. Horne worked at the Franklin County Career and Technology Center for over 14 years. He enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR, spending time in the outdoors, and going to the cabin with his friends and family.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children, James M. Eagler (wife Corry) of Greencastle, PA and Fawn D. Robinson (husband Jeremie) of Fayetteville, PA; five grandchildren, Madeline, Abigail, Noah, Mara, and Gabriel; two siblings, Dana Shimer (husband Kent) and Karen Von Sternberg (partner Troy Snider) of St. Thomas, PA; and one niece and two nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Shane Hartman.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Pastor Staci Geesaman will officiate. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the services in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
