God called His servant Phillip Matthew Jackson, age 36, home early Sunday morning, June 26, 2016. Phillip was called home suddenly and surprisingly to all who love and care for him, whom are many. Phillip “P.J” was born December 27, 1979 in Waycross, GA and was residing in Greencastle, PA with his beloved wife, Amber Lynn Campbell Jackson; two daughters, Averi Marlean Sue Jackson, age 7, and Savannah Grace Jackson, age 18 months; and one step-daughter, Shelby Lynn Crider, age 6, who will all miss him terribly.
Phillip was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan, Atlanta Braves fan, and by marriage, a Penn State fan as well. He loved the outdoors and cared and provided for many animals including his loyal companion, Jax, his bulldog buddy.
Phillip also sadly left behind his loving parents, Robin and Wanda Gould of Front Royal, VA, and Larry W. Jackson of Baxley, GA. Phillip had three siblings, Joseph Abraham Martin of Hahira, GA, and twin sisters Bonnie Roxanne Carter and Betsy Cheyenne Smiley, both of Georgia. Phillip was also blessed with several nieces and nephews alike. He adored his family and his many friends and loved to entertain with his humor and great wit. Phillip will be greatly missed by all.
“For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death” (Psalm 48:14)
