Phyllis J. Davis, 93, of Quincy, died on Thursday December 18, 2014in Quincy Nursing Home. Born on June 12, 1921 in Williamson, PA, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Annie Wallech Gossard. Phyllis was a former member of TOPS Club in Fayetteville. She was a member of King Street United Brethren Church. Pyllis also participated in the Christian Women’s Club of Chambersburg. Her beloved husband Harry T. Davis preceded her in death on July 3, 1994.

Phyllis is survived by 3 daughters, Nancy L. Dymond of Fayetteville, Patricia A. Shover and husband Ronald of Chambersburg, Tannie Mickey and husband David of St. Thomas; a son, Harry Dennis Davis and wife Robin of Hagerstown; 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 9 brothers and 3 sisters. She was the last of her immediate family.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road Chambersburg, PA 17202. Pastor Lester F. Stine will officiate. Interment will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lutheran Home Care and Hospice, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17202 or Quincy Home, Colestock Building, 6596 Orphanage Rd. Waynesboro, PA 17268.
