Phyllis Rudisill

Phyllis M. Rudisill, 82, of Chambersburg, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at her home. Born January 10, 1941 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Clara Koning Dekker. Her beloved husband, William E. Rudisill, preceded her in death in 1992.

Phyllis spent most of her life making a home for her family. She enjoyed helping at her children’s business, Kenny’s Grill & Ice Cream. She also enjoyed gardening, loved nature, feeding the birds and squirrels at home, and feeding the goats at Bender’s Potato Farm.

She is survived by three children, Keith Rudisill (Karen) of Fairfield, Brian Rudisill (Joe Gaskill) of Chambersburg, and Lisa Rudisill; and two granddaughters, Colleen and Claudia Rudisill, both of Fairfield. Aside from her parents and husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Dekker.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Gettysburg, PA. Chaplain Bob Murr will officiate.
