Ralph Fahrney

Ralph Fahrney Jr., age 60 of Chambersburg, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Hershey Medical Center. He was mostly known by family and friends as Jr. Born May 6, 1963, in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph Fahrney Sr. and Ruth Statler Fahrney.
Jr was a 1981 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim Senior High School and a 1983 graduate of the Hagerstown Junior College. Jr worked as an IT Specialist for Global Data Consultants. He was a member of The Open Door Church, where he served as a deacon, usher, children’s Sunday School aide, and Awana Worker. He enjoyed spending time with family, classic cars, going to car shows, working outdoors, oldies music, and long walks on the beach.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 19 years, Wendy Ray Fahrney, whom he married on June 5, 2004; three children, Ruthanna M., Matthew T., and Audrey K. Fahrney all of Chambersburg, PA; a sister, Betty Jane Fahrney of Chambersburg, PA, and a niece Meagan Rogers.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 11:30 AM at The Open Door Church, 600 Miller St., Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor Mike Sanders will officiate. Interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the above church and address, please designate missions in the memo.
