Ralph F. Kline, 92, of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born December 19, 1928 in Harrisonville, PA, he was a son of the late Harry Thomas and Blanche Ethel Sipes Kline. His beloved wife, Shirley Louise Ryder Kline, preceded him in death on November 19, 2009.
Ralph was a graduate of Green Hill High School. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in education with Penn State University and later earned his Master’s Degree in landscaping. Ralph taught vocational agriculture at Forbes Road, Fannett-Metal and Chambersburg High Schools until his retirement after 45 years. He and his wife were the owner/operators of ”Lofty Lea Kennel” where they raised German Sheppard’s and also Go Broke Farm”. He also enjoyed hunting, gardening and antiques. Ralph enjoyed life to the fullest. He was easygoing, hardworking, strong-willed and had a way of making everyone feel special.
He is survived by three children, Angela R. Kline (Herbert Milburn), Lisa S. Todino (Ralph), and John M. Kline (Susan), all of Chambersburg; and four grandchildren, John R. Kline, Leah R. Kline, Maria L. Todino and Ricky Milburn. In addition to his wife and parents, Ralph was preceded in death by three siblings, Walter, Darthula and Roy.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 2, 2021 at King Street Church, 162 E. King Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Rev. Ron Cook will officiate. Private interment will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
