Randy Goodyear

Randy Allen Goodyear, age 59, of Shippensburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at his home. Born August 24, 1955, he was a son of the late Faye A. Tritle Goodyear.

Randy worked as an assembler for Volvo Manufacturing in Shippensburg. He was a member of the Orrstown Rod and Gun Club and Christian Life Assembly of God. A skilled carpenter, Randy enjoyed building things and playing the part of a handyman. His most treasured past time was watching his son play ball.

Surviving is his wife of 15 years, Ginger Goodyear, whom he married March 24, 2000; his son, Clayton Allen Goodyear; and a sister, Sandy Comacho of San Antonio, TX. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Christian.

Funeral services to honor Randy will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at 10 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Pastor Joe Pickens will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 6 from 6 – 8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Thursday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in St. Thomas Cemetery.
