Ray Rosenberry

Ray L. Rosenberry, age 63, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at his home. Born March 25, 1950 in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Della Showalter Rosenberry.
Ray was a 1968 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior high School. He was a produce manager for Giant Food for 37 years. An avid softball player, Ray played locally for a number of years. Ray loved baseball, football and NASCAR, he also enjoyed time together with his wife at Fenwick Island, DE and at Myrtle Beach, SC.
Surviving is his loving wife, Darlene Mellott Rosenberry, whom he married March 16, 2003, two children, Aaron Rosenberry (wife Kandi) of Shippensburg, PA and Heather Rosenberry of Shippensburg, PA; step-son, Trevor Rinard (wife Brook) of New Cumberland, PA; four grandchildren; best friend, Charlie Cawthern; two siblings, Richard Rosenberry of Chambersburg and Debra Shew of Fayetteville, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Robert Rosenberry and Rose Castaneda.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11 AM at the Chambersburg First Church of God, 2230 Grand Point Rd., Chambersburg, PA 17201; where Revs. Lawrence Metzler, Dr. Terri Zastovnik, and Roger Wilmer will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to Home Nursing Agency Hospice, 761 Fifth Ave., suite A3a, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
