Raymond Rotz

Raymond E. Rotz, 76, of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born July 3, 1939 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Mildred Rotz.

Following his graduation in 1958 from CASHS, Raymond served honorably in the U.S. Army. He worked in accounting at T.B. Woods until his retirement, and later worked in security at the Franklin County courthouse, at the Hess Gas Station in Chambersburg, and Puff & Snuff. He was a member of the Fayetteville Fire Company where he served as president for several years. He also served as a volunteer for the Red Cross. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. Raymond enjoyed reading, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his sister, Vada A. Rotz of Chambersburg; and his grandson, Trevor Pensinger of York, PA. In addition to his mother, Raymond is preceded in death by his brother, Paul Rotz.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
