Rebecca Dill

Rebecca Ann Finney Dill, 73, of Fayetteville, passed away while surrounded by her loving family and friends on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born on May 31, 1938 in Waynesboro, PA, she was a daughter of the late Edward George and Mayburn Schultz (Fitz) Finney. A 1956 graduate of Waynesboro High School, Beckey worked as a Library Technician for Western Geophysical in Houston, TX from which she later retired. Beckey enjoyed gardening in her yard and she very much loved her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Teri Hinkle Rihel (wife of Terry Rihel) of Waynesboro, David Hinkle of Smithland, KY, Douglas Hinkle (husband of Pamela Hinkle) of Chambersburg; five grandchildren, Angela Hinkle of Shillington, PA, Meghan Yoder of Scotland, PA, Zachary Yoder of Waynesboro, PA, Ryan Hinkle of Chambersburg, PA, and David “Joey” Hinkle of Katy, TX; three siblings, Randolph Muth Finney (husband of Mildred) of Waynesboro, PA, George Edward Finney (husband of Linda) of Mont Alto, PA, and Emily Wingert of Hanover, PA.

Services for Beckey will be private and under the direction of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
