Rev. Ronald Milley

Rev. Ronald G. Milley, 83, of Chambersburg, passed into the presence of His Lord on April 03, 2015 in his home 810 Long Lane Chambersburg. He was born to Philip and Agnes Milley on February 26, 1932 in Toronto, Ontario.

He was a member of the Washington Union Alliance Church in New Castle, PA and upon retirement a faithful adherent of the Open Door Church, Chambersburg. He attended Toronto, Ontario schools, Bob Jones University, Greenville, SC and graduated from Nyack College in Nyack, NY in 1956.

Following graduation he pastored churches in the Christian Missionary Alliance in Maine, Massachusetts, Ontario, Connecticut and Pennsylvania for 40 years. After retirement he served as an interim pastor in Shippensburg and Mt. Union, PA, and as the Chaplain at Providence Place in Chambersburg for 6 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Greta Olson Milley, whom he married on September 8, 1956; two children, Barbara Jenkins of Hillsborough, NC and Frank (wife, Anne) of Ivoryton, CT; 2 grandsons, Phillip and Andrew Jenkins, granddaughter, Cara Milley and great grandson, Jameson Jenkins.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 6, at 11:00 AM at The Open Door Church, 600 Miller St. Chambersburg, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Mike Sanders will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Open Door Fellowship Hall Building Fund at the above address.
