Richard G. Smith died on Thursday, April 4, 2013 of Gettysburg, PA and formerly of Northern Virginia. Beloved wife of Olga Nazarenko Smith; loving father of Julie M. Long, Thomas R. Smith, Cynthia N. Ward, Stephen J. Smith and Ilona Doerfler; cherished grandfather of 7; and brother of Marty Venchelli. The family will receive friends at St. Mary’s Orothodox Church, 2063 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg, PA from 12-1 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2013; where Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, with Fr. Ted Pulcini officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
