Rivver M. Cooper, 22, of Shippensburg, PA passed away Monday, August 7, 2023 in the York Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born September 2, 2000 in Harrisburg, PA he was the son of J. Ryan Cooper and Melinda K. (Nunley) Cooper both of Shippensburg.
He was a graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School with the Class of 2019. Rivver was currently a student at Shippensburg University studying criminal justice. He was a member of the university car club. Rivver was employed at the Rain Tunnel Car Wash, Chambersburg for a number of years. He attended Shippensburg First Assembly of God Church. Rivver enjoyed playing and watching baseball and working on his Jeep. He had a giving soul and would help those in need which was reflected in him being a Gift of Life Donor.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Alexandria Brewer, Breanna Cooper, Johnathin Cooper, and Madalynn Cooper; maternal grandmother, Janie Nunley; and paternal grandparents Lawrence “Big Dog” Cooper and Tina Cooper. He is preceded in death by a sister, Angel Cooper and maternal grandfather, Mike Nunley.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 23, 2023 in the First Assembly of God of Shippensburg, 420 Baltimore Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 North 3rd Street Philadelphia, PA 19123 or at www.donors1.org/give.
