Robert H. “Bob” Bagley, 79, of Chambersburg, PA entered into the Kingdom of Heaven, Monday, November 7, 2022 in his home. Born June 11, 1943 in Pecos Army Air Field, TX, and raised in Stockton, CA. He was the son of the late Robert C. and Patricia C. (Kinney) Bagley.
He was a “self-made man” serving with the United States Air Force until his honorable discharge October 23, 1964. Bob then went to work at Letterkenny Army Depot in LSSA and DESCOM as a computer specialist from 1970 until his retirement in 1998. During these years he travelled to Fort Ritchie where he did Communication Electronics and Engineering Installation Activities for the Continental US in support of the Pentagon.
Bob and his wife were very involved at Our Lady of The Visitation Parish Campus Ministry Music Group with Shippensburg University students for over 30 years. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus in both Chambersburg and Shippensburg.
Bob moved to Chambersburg in 1970 where he met his beloved wife, Trudy A. (Brezler) Bagley, and they soon began a long life together, having recently celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Shannon Bagley Jones (Randy) of Pittsburgh, PA and Todd Bagley of Stockton, CA; grandson, Tanner Jones; and many cherished nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James M. Bagley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 14, 2022 in Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201 with Fr. Allan Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Corpus Christi Cemetery, Lincoln Way West, Chambersburg. Arrangements are by the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday afternoon in the new Church Narthex.
