Robert Keith “Bob” Becker, age 43, of Ft. Loudon, PA, passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2017, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born April 2, 1974, he was the son of David D. Becker and the late Bonnita Koser Becker.
Bob was a 1992 graduate of Elizabethtown Area High School. He earned his Associate’s Degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology in May 1994. Bob was employed by Hoober Inc. of Chambersburg as an over the road parts salesman. Bob is a member of The Open Door Church. In addition to spending time with his family and his children, Bob enjoyed tractor pulling and wood working.
In addition to his father, Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Danielle Mertz Becker, whom he married January 7, 1995, six children, Jessica Grace, Jordan Elizabeth, Janelle Rachel, Jason Paul, Christopher David, and Curtis Robert Becker, all of Ft. Loudon, PA; and a brother, David S. Becker (wife Cindy) of Elizabethtown, PA.
A Memorial service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at 3 PM, at The Open Door Church, 600 Miller St., Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor Mike Sanders will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in his name to the Cumberland Valley Christian School, 600 Miller St., Chambersburg, PA 17201 or to the Epilepsy Foundation Western/Central Pennsylvania, 1501 Reedsdale Street, Suite 3002, Pittsburgh, PA 15233. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
