Robert Cloud

Robert "Bob" Anthony Patrick Cloud, 62, of Alachua, FL, passed away on November 8, 2023 in Chambersburg, PA.

He was born on December 3, 1960 in River Forest, Illinois. Robert, known to his loved ones as
Bob, was a dedicated family man. He had a love for the Lord and accepted Christ as his Savior
on June 12, 2006. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bob had a love for golf and excelled as a tournament player. He was also an avid sports fan. His
favorite teams were the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox, and the
Chicago Blackhawks.

Bob obtained a Masters of Education from the University of Arizona and pursued a career as a
Sports Writer. Later in life, he had a successful career as a Commercial Driver. His commitment
to his work was evident in his dedication and professionalism.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Ellen Faye Cloud; his son, Samuel Robert Cloud; and his
brothers, James "Jim" Cloud, William "Bill" Cloud, and Michael "Mike" Cloud. He is preceded in
death by his daughters, Sarah Ellen Cloud and Hannah Faye Cloud; his father, Harold
Williamson Cloud; his mother, Helen (Steadman) Messer Fountain; and his brother, Edward
"Ed" Cloud.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Destiny Community Church, New Berry, FL after the new year. Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
