Robert Lininger

Robert L. Lininger, III, 43, of Mercersburg, PA, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD. Born December 11, 1973 in Chambersburg, he was the son of Robert L. Lininger, Jr. of McConnellsburg and the late Kay Arlene Brant Lininger. Currently employed by Fayetteville Contractors, he had previously been employed at Foremost Industries, Nitterhouse Concrete, the Charles Brake Company, JLG, and on the Hartung and Zimmerman farms. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and riding dirt bikes with his children.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie Chilcote Lininger, whom he married June 24, 1995; his children Dakota and Katlin; and three sisters, Larene K. Ogden (Scott) of Beaver, PA, Alice L. Starliper (Randy) of Fayetteville, and Lora A. Maust of Chesterfield, VA.

A service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held at Noon on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at St. Thomas United Methodist Church, 360 St. Thomas-Edenville Road, St. Thomas, PA.
