Robert Miller

Robert B. “Bobby” Miller, age 60, of Mercersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 8, 2016. Born October 18, 1956, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late George W. S. Miller, Sr. and Ilene Roles Miller.

Bobby enjoyed tinkering with electronics, listening to music on his stereo, as well as, fishing and hunting in his younger years. He worked for years at Hoffman Mills Shippensburg, PA and at Kayo's Atlantic Gas Station in Fayetteville, PA. He graduated from Chambersburg, Area High School in 1976. Bobby was a member of the Moose Lodge # 1790 and the American Legion Post 517, both in Mercersburg, PA.

Surviving is his daughter, Jolene McGee; two grandchildren, Austin Villalobos and Tristen Shauf; five siblings, George W. S. Miller, Jr., John R. Miller (Nancy), Edith L. Mc New (Daryl), Christine Wenger (Lee), Laurie Millard (Tim); and uncles, Dean Roles (Arlene); Tom Roles, and an Aunt Donna Miller (Ronnie) and his best friend, Steve Henry (Deb); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his sister Ilene (Red) McElwain.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. If desired, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in lieu of flowers to Bethesda Mission 611 Reilly Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102. .
