Robert Pautienus

Robert P. Pautienus, 74, Fayetteville, PA, passed away Thursday April 2 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born in Gilberton, PA., February 25, 1942, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Cominsky) Pautienus.

Bob moved to Laurel, MD in 1962, where he worked at Westinghouse Electronic Systems Group in Linthicum, Maryland, for 30 years, and retired in 1992. He was a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). Bob enjoyed staying busy by always looking for new home projects, but mostly keeping up with his grandchildren’s activities and spending as much time with them as possible. He and his wife then moved back to Pennsylvania in 2005.

Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Anna Marie; a son, Bryan and his wife, Roxanna; two Grandchildren, Ella and Joseph; siblings, Bernie Schucker, Joan Carl, and Eddie Pautienus; and with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to honor Bob’s life will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 10 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Rev. Fr. Louis Rodriguez will celebrate. The family will receive friends in the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
