Robert Preisler

Robert Lynn Preisler, 61, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born June 15, 1956 in Chambersburg, he was a son of Betty Daugherty Zimmerman and husband Robert of Chambersburg and the late Clyde Preisler. Mr. Preisler had at one time co-owned Nitterhouse Alarm and Communication in Chambersburg. Earlier in his life he worked at the Kennedy Space Center. He enjoyed rockets, movies, and keeping up with the latest technology.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Alberts Preisler, whom he married May 30, 1985; his son, Eric A. Preisler of Fayetteville; three step-sons, Thomas Cook, Jr. (Michelle) of Chambersburg, Don Eric Cook (Jody Diehl) of Fayetteville, and Chad Cook (Acamie) of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; two brothers, Timothy Preisler of Palm Bay, FL and Steve Preisler (Joann) of East Berlin; and his sister, Vickie Negley (Randy) of Chambersburg.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 15, 2017 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Alan R. Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
