Robert Sease

Robert P. “Bob” Sease, Sr., 71, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at home. Born on February 28, 1943 in Fayetteville, Bob was the son of the late Paul L. and Lillian M. Hershey Sease. He was employed at SKF in Shippensburg for over thirty years and retired from Nursery Supply, Inc. in Chambersburg. Bob was avid outdoorsman, who tremendously enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a social member of the Hume-McNeal Detachment Marine Corps League in Chambersburg, the Burt J. Asper Post 46 American Legion in Chambersburg, the Detrich-Brechbill Post 612 American Legion in St. Thomas, and the AMVets Post 224 in Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bonnie L. Perry Sease, whom he married on September 22, 1963. Bob is also survived by two sons, Robert P. “Bobby” Sease, Jr. and wife Beverly of Chambersburg and Ronald E. Sease and wife Anita of Chambersburg; two grandchildren, Heather Sease Ritchey and husband Alex of Fayetteville and Brennan Sease of Chambersburg; and a great grandson Cameron Sease. Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by a great grandson Mason Sease, a brother Elam Sease and a sister Joanne Rudd.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 29, 2015 at 11:30 AM in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road Chambersburg, PA 17202. The Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. Interment will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday January 28, 2015 and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
