Robert L. Seilhamer

Robert L. “Bobby” Seilhamer, 64, of Chambersburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, May 29, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.  Born March 2, 1960 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Roy E. and Lois J. Diffenderfer Seilhamer.  Bobby was a 1979 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School.   He had been employed by the Guilford Township Supervisors as part of the road crew since 1988.  He had previously worked as a driver with Charles W. Karper, Inc. and worked part time for Scott’s Hauling and Excavating.  He was a member for more than fifty years of the New Franklin Fire Company.  Bobby was an avid hunter and enjoyed camping, going to the races in Richmond, VA, and spending time at Raystown Lake.  He could often be found tinkering in his garage at home.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Christina L. Wagaman, whom he married August 18, 2023; two daughters, Bobbie Jo Coons and husband Aaron of Spring Run, PA and Ashley Seilhamer of Chambersburg; two grandchildren; two step-sons, Dylan Wright and wife Shelby of Chambersburg and David Wright of Chambersburg; his brother, Mark Seilhamer and wife Roxi of Chambersburg; his niece, Paige Seilhamer Glunt; and his nephew, Cameron Seilhamer.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Faust on August 30, 2020.

A viewing will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA.  Private interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
