Rodger L. Warren, age 80, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away at the Chambersburg Hospital on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Born August 30, 1938, in Sabillasville, MD, he is the son of the late Roy and Bernice Fergusan Warren.
Mr. Warren was a 1957 graduate of the Thurmont High School and served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1958 – 1962; he continued his service as a Management Analyst for the Federal Government, retiring in 1993. After retirement, he worked for BAPS as a driver delivering paint. Mr. Warren was a member of Grace Brethren Church, George Washington Lodge #143, the American Legion Post 46, and both the Letterkenny and Chambersburg Rod and Gun Clubs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 51 years, Joyce Mull Warren, whom he married on October 28, 1967; two sons, Keith A. Warren (Jen Mickley) of Chambersburg, PA and Kevin L. Warren (wife Wendy) of New Berlin, PA; four grandchildren, Devin, Cameron, Michael, and Brady Warren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betsy Baker of Calabash, NC.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019, at 10 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor John Bayer will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 3 from 6 – 8 PM and on Monday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
