Rodney L. Patterson, 71, of Chambersburg, died Thursday, October 26, 2023. He was born in Chambersburg on July 31, 1952, a son of the late Kenneth L. and Doris (Aughinbaugh) Patterson. Rodney received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Shippensburg University in 1974, after which he
worked many years for the U.S. government, primarily at Letterkenny Army Depot and U.S. Army Depot System Command in Chambersburg, and U.S. Army Materiel Command in Goose Creek, South Carolina.
In addition to his parents, Rodney was predeceased by a brother, Bradley. He is survived by two sisters, Amy Plack (Larry) of Norfolk, Virginia, and Krista Dunne (Paul) of Cornish, New Hampshire; a brother, Brian (Evelyn) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and two nephews. Rodney was known for being a great lover of dogs. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Graveside services will be private.
