Romaine Mouer

Romaine C. Gsell Mouer, 80, of Fayetteville, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on February 4, 1932 in Fayetteville, she was a daughter of the late John Franklin Gsell and Bertha Catherine Keefer Gsell.

Romaine served her Lord and Savior as a Pastor’s Wife at the Fayetteville Pentecostal Church of God for over 50 years. She also worked at the South Mountain Restoration Center for 12 years and then retired in 1998 from Faith Valley Christian School, where she had served as principal. She was a member of Fayetteville Pentecostal Church of God.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Rev. George S. Mouer Sr., two children, Cinda L. Gilbert (and husband, Richard) of Fayetteville and George S. Mouer Jr (and wife, Pamela) of Biglerville; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, and one step great great granddaughter. She is also survived by two brothers, Harold Gsell (and wife, Peggy) and John Gsell (and wife, Nellie), all of Chambersburg; and her sister, Arlene Byers (and husband, John Jr.) of Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, October 25, in the Fayetteville Pentecostal Church of God, 5276 Treher Road, Fayetteville, with Pastor Staci Geesaman officiating. Interment will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM on Wednesday in the Thomas L.
