Ronald Bowman

Ronald L. “Chip” Bowman, Jr., 47, of Chambersburg, PA, died Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at his home. Born February 9, 1969 in Chambersburg, he was the son of Ronald L. and Roberta Hughes Bowman of Chambersburg. He was a 1987 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and attended Huntington University and Penn State University. Chip was an avid hiker and liked cooking, gardening, fishing, and music. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three children, Lindsay Bowman of Bethlehem, PA, Cheyenne Bowman of Chambersburg, PA, and Tristan Bowman of Middletown, MD; and his sister, Charlene “Shonnie” Lindsey of Shippensburg; two nephews, Brandon and Riley Lindsey of Shippensburg; and his girlfriend, Nicole Fox of Chambersburg.

A service to celebrate Chip’s life will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, June 20, 2016 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Rev. Christopher Frye will officiate. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
