Ronald Ehing

Ronald C. Ehing, age 82, of Chambersburg, PA; passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in the Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born March 12, 1929 in East Strausburg, PA; he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Strunk Ehing.
A veteran of both WWII and Korea, Ronald served his country faithfully and honorably. Upon his separation from the armed forces, he went on to serve at Letterkenny Army Depot, where he later retired after 27 years of service. Ronald enjoyed playing horseshoes and bowling.
Surviving are two step-children, Virginia Plantz of Chambersburg and Glenn E. Huges of Shippensburg; four grandchildren, Tiffany and Megan Hughes both of St. Thomas and Greg and David Plantz both of Chambersburg; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Joseph Ehing. and one sister, Mary Lou Stout. Services and interment will be private.
