Ronald Hull

Ronald E. Hull, Sr., 84, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born August 11, 1936 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Roy C. and Emma Fox Hull. A self-employed truck driver most of his life, he hauled for H.C. Gabler Trucking and Karper Trucking until retiring from driving in 1985. He and his wife then operated Hull’s Messenger Service in Chambersburg. Ron was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, spending time at his cabin, and his annual fishing trip to Canada.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Faith Hull, whom he married May 3, 1958; two sons, Ronald E. Hull, Jr. and Matthew W. Hull and wife Traci all of Chambersburg; his daughter-in-law Betty Hull of Maugansville, MD; two grandchildren, Brittni Weller and husband Jesse and Brandon Hull; and his sister, Nancy Adams and husband Donald of Chambersburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Steven M. Hull on June 7, 2005; a brother, Larry C. Hull; and a sister Doris Jean Stouter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Andrew St. Hilaire at 2:00 PM Monday, June 28, 2021 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA. Interment will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA.
